DEPOP SPACE, SELFRIDGES
Insight
Depop is a challenger in the world of retail. Its online presence is changing the way genZ and millennials buy clothes. When we were asked to come up with ideas for Depop's first ever physical space in the UK, in heritage-steeped Selfridges, we knew we had to make it stand out. The other designers in the surrounding area on the shop floor were traditional in their approach, so we approached the task unconventionally, with a youthful feel.
Idea
To make Depop stand out from the surrounding retail spaces, we created an energetic, digital experience featuring a moving rail and ticker tape. Set designer Anna Burns helped us realise our vision of a ‘market of the future’.
